Time: 7:30pm
Location: 37a Broadhurst Gardens, NW6 3QT

Uri Zaki, President of the Israeli Meretz Party’s Governing Assembly, will be speaking at Meretz UK on

50 Years of Occupation – How to Save Israel

Uri is also Fellow at the Emile Zola Chair for Human Rights, College of Management Academic Studies, Israel. He recently wrote about the confluence of anniversaries this year which, he argues, cement the point that occupation with no end in sight is endangering the future of Israel, morally, politically, democratically and culturally. And turning peace with Israel’s Palestinian neighbours into an ever more distant dream. Yet he sees a way out!

All are welcome, usual contributions of £5 and refreshments provided.

With gratitude to Hashomer Hatzair UK for supporting this event
