Meretz UK and Meretz Israel are hosting a closed briefing with a sumptuous, paid-for vegan meal on Sunday, 6 October, starting 7 pm. The venue is The Gate Restaurant, Islington branch.

Our special guest is Dror Morag, formerly head of Meretz Youth and also past director-general of the World Union of Meretz. He is currently on the board of governors of the Jewish Agency and is also head of Zionist Enterprises at the WZO. He described his work here to our counterparts in the USA. Dror will describe the recent two elections in Israel, the consequences for Meretz in particular, and will also outline what the future may bring – in terms of likely new government in Israel, social and economic concerns, and the hopes (if faint!) for renewed Israeli-Palestinian peace talks.
