Jennifer Langer and two of the contributors to the book, will be in discussion about Jewish exiled writers and literature. Predrag Finci, a Bosnian exiled writer, and Bart Wolffe, Zimbabwean writer and playwright, will also be reading from their work, giving us a window into their unique experience.
Jennifer Langer is the founding director of Exiled Writers Ink , organisation of refugee writers, based in London, and editor of 4 anthologies of exiled literature, the latest being the newly published 'If Salt Has Memory: Jewish Exiled Writers', an anthology of literature by Jewish exiled writers from the Middle East, Latin America, Africa and Europe, published Five Leaves, 2008, She has an MA in Cultural Memory.
